MuniDocs presents users with a predefined list of document types to pick from. We took this approach to ensure consistency when categorizing documents for search filtering. We didn't want one user to create a "Council Minutes" document type and another user to create a "Zoning Board Minutes" document type.
Rather, both documents should be uploaded under the "Minutes" document type, then a folder can be created beneath "Minutes" for each type of minutes, one for "Council Minutes" and one for "Zoning Board Minutes".
